…in our French Affair set in terroir of reach and endless, small and grand Niagara vineyards, vineries, proud winemakers and prestigious vines.
We fell in love with France and its joie de vivre only to realize that, instead of going there, we can bring it closer to home, in the prettiest Canadian and best preserved 19th century North American town of Niagara on the Lake.
We also love to have friends in our home, to entertain and have a good time. Our house, nestled on an acre of peaceful land and manicured gardens and with the stunning sunrise over the river and a sunset above the vineyards, furnished and decorated with care and pride, will welcome your family and friends offering you four calming and relaxing bedrooms, each with the incredible views, two full bathrooms and a powder room, large and very comfortable family room, kitchen for culinary lovers and the living and dining rooms for elegant dining and entertainment.
Perfect for lazy afternoons, BBQ evenings on a flagstone patio, or children’s plays, our garden is oasis of beautiful plants, flowers and mature trees, well chosen and cared for.
During the summer, you can refresh in a large, fenced-in pool with turquoise water, secluded and surrounded by rose bushes. In a winter or spring evenings, you can worm yourselves up by he wood-burning fireplaces in a relaxing family and an elegant living room, while enjoying some of the famous, local ice -vines. This all comes with superb views, no matter where in, or around the house you happen to be.
Things to do
As if you would in Burgundy, or Provence, forget about your car and pedal your bikes straight from the door, between the tranquillity of vine and orchards, mightiness of Niagara River, calmness of the inspirational and attractive town and its historic, gorgeous houses and cottages and famous, ever so known, magnificent Niagara Falls.
Treat yourself with always fresh, local produce, taste some fine wine and feed your soul with theatre productions from the celebrated Shaw Festival. If sailing is your mode de vie, have a toast with fellow sailors on the Niagara River, with the unique view on two great lakes and two countries.
While you are dwelling on which route to start your day with, or at which dinner and play to fend it with, we will make sure that everything in between remains as pleasant and enjoyable as every hour of your stay in this beautiful part of the world should be.
We wish you to make yourselves at home in the French Affair and leave with the memories that will stay long with you and those you cherish most!
